Breast uplift surgery, or mastopexy, is one of a number of cosmetic surgery enhancements that aim to raise and firm the breasts to restore the former, fuller appearance of the patient's bustline. The treatment will not increase the size of your breasts, but it is commonly performed at the same time as a breast enlargement when a bigger bust is desired, to give you lift, fullness and firmness.

Breast uplifts are most commonly performed to reverse the sagging effects that often follow pregnancies, weight loss and ageing. Drooping or sagging occurs when the skin of the breasts is stretched, resulting in a less youthful appearance.

Breast uplift surgery is performed under a general anaesthetic by our highly experienced medical team. The surgeon will carefully remove a small section of excess skin from each breast to lift the bustline, giving a more youthful appearance. If the sagging of your breasts is only very minor, the surgeon may suggest a "mini" uplift, also known as a nipple lift.
